White caps

October 27, 2009

Health care just hasn’t been the same since they did away with those white caps.

Oh, I loved them! I wanted to be a nurse just so I could wear one.

My UT email box is full of notes from the health center. Last week a full 1/3 of my media literacy class was out with flu.

Yesterday I had four kids out.
I am liberally sanitizing everything.

  1. The last time someone said to me “I always wanted to be a nurse”, it was in a nursing home. The next line was, “Who thought it would happen when I was 85.” Because her family all lived away, they worried about her living alone. She turned a difficult situation into a calling.

  2. Wow-did she become one?
