Carol, that’s exactly what I believe. Soul school. Nice post!
we are here to learn indeed! I like the soul school vibe! nice post!
I agree. We are here as part of a journey and everything we do to touch others is important in a huge picture way!
I have a slightly different slant on it all to you Carol but still end up in exactly the same place – why would we go through all these experiences and gain all this wisdom if it’s just to become worm food? I see it as preparation of eternity and also about being a light in the darkness – wouldn’t it be lovely if everyone chose love and light?
My three questions have always been, where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? Folks wonder about this all the time. Peace arrived when I knew.
Please share!
I hope you are right. But even if we do fade to black, those 3 purposes are still important.
Now that is ‘food for thought’ Have a wonderful weekend
“Soul-School” I LOVE it!
I love the; we are here to give love and receive it. Everything in our society seems to have come down to money and propaganda for the rich. I hope more will try to concentrate on Love.
I completely agree. Every human being is here for a purpose. It is a soul school.
I can agree, but what I want to know is why can’t we stay? Why do we have to lose the people we love?
So true, I agree with you!
I’m here to be happy, to live with people I love and to add day by day a slice of happiness realizing my projects!
I don’t want to waste my life thinking that I’ll just live to die, that’s not a good mindset. We’re here to contribute to the world and try to change it in a way that the future generation will live better than we did.
This is exactly what I believe. I would add that we are not here to judge. It is a lot easier said than done but once we concentrate on being kiND and stop judging the peace is surreal.
Those are three things that we are here for most definitely. To both love and be loved is so important. It’s all about connection.
We all have a purpose in life and that is to love our neighbor and help one another. We have a life after death and our destination depends on how we live our life here on earth.
As always – about as good as it gets!
I not only believe it I’ve seen it. Still trying to find words to describe it!
I never thought of it that way. I like that thought, soul school, that makes me feel better about life to know that there is a reason.
Great points. 🙂 When I was younger, I would often ask, “Why am I living this life and not somebody else’s?” 😀
We are made if star stuff. We are eternally shining on this universe.

I never really thought of the question why are we here. Love and be loved is so beautiful. I agree to we are here to teach.
I love how you mentioned that we’re here to learn. We can always learn something from one another.
I have never thought of it that way before. But it does make sense that we would be put on this earth to learn. I also think it goes much deeper than that. I think we were put on this earth to have a relationship with our creator which is God.
I think slightly different, but basically the same! Why be here and experience all we do just to end up as nothing? Great, thought-provoking post!

True. If you stop learning, You actually stop growing so you really have no reason to exists.
Brilliantly thought provoking post and questions. ima be thinking about them all day.
I definitely think we are here to leave a positive impact. This is why I lead a life as compassionate as I can. Nobody needs to suffer for me to live here.
Love this Carol. But sometimes I feel like I am failing out of Soul School. Yet if I graduate, is it over?? What’s next??
I love this post and I totally agree. There is a purpose. “Soul School” is an excellent way to put it. Once we reach the next plain of existence, hopefully we will have learned from our time here, and our energies will truly know how to love one another!
We are here to make a difference even if only to one person.
