Worth the 20 minutes

June 25, 2009

I know that we live in an instant news society, where every hour something new makes headlines. Neda is last week’s news, today’s news is Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.

I don’t think we can afford to forget Neda. When you have 20 minutes to spare, you might want to look at this incredible BBC interview with the Iranian doctor who tried to save Neda. It isn’t just about what he did, it’s about human rights.

I hope you’ll view it. And no, no footage of the death. Just the doctor in interview. Insight we’ll never get from our own media. Bravo, BBC.
