Imagine a small group of writers and bloggers walking in the crisp and spicy air of a Santa Fe, New Mexico fall day. We’ve just spent some “classroom” time talking about writing — YOUR writing– and are now breathing in the creativity and inspiration that permeates this Southwestern mecca.
For lunch we choose dishes infused with chile, cumin and coriander and let each bite linger on our tongues. We take in selected works of art–sculpture, paintings, color — and marvel at how artists translate their creative sparks. Tiny notebook or recorders in hand, we make note of what captivates and inspires us all along our way and then, we write about it. And talk about that writing.
There are still seats left–join your fellow writers in a Santa Fe, NM writing weekend that will be the catalyst for renewed creativity and teach a few new skills, too!
THIS post has the basics. Email me at ccassara (at) aol for more information. We’d love to have you!

Did I say we’re having a home-cooked Southwestern dinner on the first night? And to whet your appetite, here are a few great Southwestern recipes–super-fast and super-yummy!
That sounds perfect, Carol. Writing (LOVE) + Santa Fe (also loved) + plus regional cuisine (of course I loved) + the company of like-minded writers = an incredible time. I wish I could join you! Sounds marvelous.
I’ve always loved the idea of like minds gathering together. Breckenridge, Santa Fe and Maui are my 3 favorite places to regroup. Wish I could join you. Boy… do I wish I could join you. I’ll be there in spirit. That counts… right?
Here you’ll find my blog, some of my essays, published writing, and my solo performances. There’s also a link to my Etsy shop for healing and grief tools offered through A Healing Spirit.
I love comments, so if something resonates with you in any way, don’t hesitate to leave a comment on my blog. Thank you for stopping by–oh, and why not subscribe so you don’t miss a single post?

I would love to do this, but will be off on Tam’s Travels!
There’s no group I’d rather be with. I’m hoping that next fall won’t be as crazy-booked as this one! You’re doing this again, right?
Next winter or spring I’ll be doing it on the coast of Central Coast of Calif.–Monterey Bay area. Way gorgeous.
Oh, how I wish I could go. I will be passing this info along to a friend who lives in Santa Fe.
thank you, Mary!
I so want to attend, but can’t commit right now. I love Santa Fe in the Fall!
