A family is a family is a family

June 1, 2011

I don’t have much to say. Just this:

More than half a million kids are in foster care.

More than 100,000 await adoption. That’s right. They’re languishing in institutions or in temporary homes. They need a forever home.

Qualified parents can be found in any “persuasion.” In fact, the world is full of parents that fall in all of these categories.

A family is a family is a family.

Many qualified LGBT people would love to love a child and call him or her their own.

So what’s the problem?
