Four quick & easy ways to handle anxiety

Feeling a little lost or at loose ends? Tense or depressed? Here are a few things that can help handle anxiety fast.

Tiny acts

Meditate. Listen to calming music. Read inspirational texts. Just take a few minutes away from difficult thoughts.

Something comforting

Curl up in an afghan. Make a cup of tea. Stream something mindless.

Talk to a friend

I know it’s easy to isolate, but share your feelings with a trusted friend.

If you’re feeling really anxious…

Take two sharp inhales and a long exhale…it’s supposed to be the fastest way to regulate the nervous system during moments of high stress and anxiety.
