Ok. I admit it. I watched one season of Rock of Love. The first one. And then, this month, I started watching Celebrity Apprentice.

Bret Michaels of Poison in both. And Bret’s still a contender in Celebrity Apprentice.

Accurate or not, reality shows give you a view of its participants. Bret came across as an inherently sweet guy, a loving dad to his two young daughters and a real rocker. He’s 47.

I’ve been really sad since I heard he’d had a brain bleed a few days ago, and now, today, people are saying that his slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness are symptoms of permanent brain damage.

I hope that’s not true.
