Lunch@Nepenthe

August 19, 2010

Off early to Big Sur today with a girlfriend for lunch at one of my favorite places. It’s 30 miles south of Carmel and a two-hour drive but we’ll be rewarded with this view over lunch outside:

Nepenthe is a neat restaurant today but it has a rich Bohemian history that dates back to 1949. Henry Miller and all that. I like to imagine what it was like back then.

What a fabulous place to have lunch … so jealous! And to sit there and imagine what it must have been like all those years ago. Wow — what a view!!!! Lucky girl.

  2. If you’re ever out this way I’ll take you.
