Off to find Finian’s rainbow

May 27, 2010

That’s County Cork in Ireland with the rainbow up top, and tomorrow we’re off at the crack of dawn. Who knows, we might find the pot of gold at the end of Finian’s rainbow. Or see a leprechaun or two. You never know.

The bottom photo is of moody, windswept Scotland, our second week’s destination. I’m looking forward to experiencing the romanticism of the heather-covered cliffs for the first time.

We’re bringing our new netbook and I’ll take notes and photographs. I’m just not sure if we’ll have the time or internet connection for daily blog posts. But you’ll hear all about it eventually.

So: slán go fóill (goodbye for now in Gaelic) and See ye efter! (see you later in Scottish).
