Sunday – no day of rest

October 4, 2009

We’re heading off to do some shopping.

My vacation has inspired me to find even more tasty and creative recipes, and I found a delicious scallops dish that I want to make for tonight’s dinner. Champagne’s chilling. It’s not Prosecco, but I had it on hand.

I LOVE to cook and can’t wait til next year when all I’m doing is writing and cooking.

Midmorning, Riley and I are going over to visit his Aunt Helen and Li’l Dude.

Then, I absolutely MUST grade papers–back to school tomorrow.

And, I made an appointment with Trainer Tom for 4:30pm. I need to get right back in the groove.

It’s not a day of rest, but the worst of jet lag’s behind us. I highly recommend a three-day rest after an overseas trip. I normally have one day. This has been great.
