Tasted.

September 24, 2009

Then off we went, here, to taste. Oh, wait. That was the winery dog. Cute, no?

Ok, we really went here.

You can find this wine in Florida at ABC. If you’re lucky. And you should. Because it’s damn good wine. Cascina St. Ubaldo.

I’ll spare you the details. Suffice it to say we tasted for a long time and even the wonderful bread and salame could not touch the buzz.

The vintner, Domenico, claimed one of the wines only had 6% alchohol. It was the one that went down easily, like grape juice. I don’t believe him. Or maybe I just sucked it down too quickly. Ya think?

So, like this is the grape press.

And, like this is the bottling equipment. Labels placed by hand though.

We loved our vintner, Domenico.

We then staggered back to the B&B for a nice pasta dinner prepared by Diana. Yummy.

Well, think we’d better go to bed now. G’nite!
