The darker the better!

Dark chocolate’s great for your health.
Finally! Something delicious is good for our health!

Women all over the world cheered when the news came out that eating a piece of dark chocolate a day promoted heart health and might even help prevent stroke.

So eat some dark chocolate. The darker and more bitter, the better.I’ve heard so many “dosage” amounts: a square a day, no more than half a bar a week, a bar a week–the studies differ. The key is moderation.

So ask your doctor what is optimum for health benefits. And enjoy a bit of a healthful treat every day.

And I do mean “enjoy.” None of this “choke down a grainy fake chocolate bar” type stuff. Savor it!

Another in a series of posts on easy ways to be healthier at mid-life or any time at all, for that matter. Start young!
