Too young

December 23, 2009

Now that we qualify as true “seniors citizens,” at least by some definitions, we find ourselves having to say goodbye to more of our peers than we ever did before.

It makes me so sad.

At UT, though, this is the case for students way too young to be going through it.

We’ve lost two UT students to traffic accidents in the past two months.

And now a freshman has passed away from complications of asthma.

Bright, young lives, cut short, before they’ve even had a chance to live out their potential.

Too young. Just too damn young.
