Stick with me, this one’s a little roundabout.

I was fixing dinner for me and Riley tonight….I had a cut apple, some cheese, green tea and watermelon, Riley had some baked chicken, dog food, carrots, swiss cheese and a little watermelon.

As I prepared his plate, I understood that millions of people in underdeveloped nations don’t eat as well as my pampered little designer dog.

In the background, the last moments of Neda’s life were playing, followed by news that our 72-year-old Supervisor of Elections, a woman active in Tampa area politics for years, died overnight in a hotel room.
