From Genoa

September 30, 2009

We have the day in Genoa, after driving the Autostrada to the Sheraton at the Genoa airport. A lovely drive to the Autostrada, through little towns, then a nice ride through the hills. A gorgeous part of Italy.

We thought about going in town to explore, but to be honest, it’ll take too much effort. So, we are hanging out here, having a meal and resting. It’s hard to muster up the energy to be a tourist after being so relaxed.

We’ve sped up our trip and after we land in MIA tomorrow, we have a 6:30pm flight to Tampa. Don’t need to spend the night there and half a day before coming home.

Ciao from Genoa!
