We’ve closed the chapter of our lives called 2009 and 2010 is upon us.

An entire decade has past in the 21st century. And it’s been an eventful one for me.

As we look ahead, I want to thank you all for joining me on this never-a-dull-moment journey. It’s great to have you here, to see your comments, to get your emails.

The fact is, I’d write whether you were here or not, but having you here to share it makes it a less solitary passion.

To those in northern California whom I’ve only known through these pages: I look forward to meeting you in 2010 and learning more about your own stories.

This will be a big year for M. and me. And our menagerie.
