I just had a call from someone I met in Nashville on our first real “business trip” for the new business.. He was looking for my partner, but recognized my voice and we had a nice chat, renewing our acquaintance. A really, really nice guy. The one we spent quite a bit of time with (and his entire extended family) in Nashville.

In juxtaposition with some really crazy behavior at the job I’m leaving, this reminds me that I will be doing kinder, gentler work. With kinder, gentler people.

A great feeling.
