Love and only love

I have seen grace in action.
A shining example of forgiveness and letting go.
The epitome of letting love take the lead.
Love and only love.
Plenty for me to think about. And plenty for me to learn.
You rock, girlfriend. I admire the hell out of you.

And your kids?  Well, the apples haven’t fallen very far from the tree.
The details are personal and private, so I won’t go there.  
But I do want to say out loud to everyone else that if, like me, you are lucky enough to see the transforming power of love in action, I hope you’ll pay attention.
Because there’s a lesson of a lifetime there.
And don’t I know it.
