No more writer’s block

Finally! After days of fear, doubt and uncertainty, I have a draft essay I’m comfortable with.

The logjam broke just after I did the free-writing exercise, wrote the poem Fuck the Universe, corresponded with two writer-friends
and quickly deconstructed an essay one of them sent me.

An idea for a new way to begin came to me out of the blue
and I wrote fluidly and easily for a few hours.

I hope I still like it in the morning.
