On my way home at noon

February 21, 2009

The mover is hired, some boxes are already on their way and I’m leaving California in a few hours. When I return, it will be as a visitor, not a resident, something that hit home during a long call with a California girlfriend.

Still, I am anxious to get home to my little dog and friends.  Love is all around.
Oh, the visual? An orange hibiscus bush blooms outside my kitchen window. I love to look at it.
This is a big week at home.
From media coverage, it looks like a client deal has gone through, one that was years in the making, and if it’s true, I’m thrilled for him. He’s a favorite person and has had to take crap he didn’t deserve for years.
I’m having lunch with another favorite person, a former client I always enjoy catching up with. A neat lady.  In fact, she and I have blocked two days this week so we’re sure to make one of them.
Other things in the works — watch this space.  A big week.
