Tears are the fruit of the soul.*

I cry.
I cry at sad movies.
At homeless people.
At animal cruelty.
During hymns at mass.
At the end of Silent Night.

When things touch me deeply, I cry.
So when someone I know wrote
this to me in an email,
I got it.

Tears prove that we are living with soul.
And living with soul (and love) is what it’s all about.
