Sex and the city

October 11, 2011

I’ve been recording reruns of Sex and the City (1998-2004) lately, and holding marathon viewing sessions that drive my husband out of the room. And his mind. I had 18 of them when I got back from vacation and I’ve seen them all already.

Love that show. It was daring for the times–and actually, still seems kind of daring. I mean, one episode featured a minor male character whose occupation was dildo model. That’s daring, I’d say. Even today.

And it’s stood the test of time really well, too.

Not surprising. It’s a show about relationships, and relationships really don’t change much in just a decade.
