Speaking of housework

March 6, 2010

While my back was out, my new doctor instructed me as follows:

Do not bend.
Do not empty the dishwasher.
Do not do laundry.
Do not sweep.
Do not vacuum.

“Honey,” I said, “I haven’t vacuumed in 15 years. I’m not even sure I have a vacuum.”

Vaccuum-LOL! I have hardwood floors just so I dont have to do that old fashioned chore-although I do have carpet in the bedrooms-I have never been nor will I ever be a good housekeeper-by the way the table you got from Crate and Barrel looks very similar to mine!
