Tasting

June 4, 2009

The menu for our January reception is just about in place. I did a tssting yesterday, and the food will be yummy!

It’s kind of fusion cuisine, taking into account our Sicilian heritage, along with our Latin and Florida communities. There won’t be a sit-down dinner, but rather lots of food our guests can eat all night. In between dancing.

We were both disappointed in the first caterer (we looked at each other and observed, “Americano”) so our wedding planner found us one that was a much better fit.

Room blocks have been reserved for out-of-town guests, or those who don’t want to drive back.

I finally got my act together with the Save the Date cards, which should all be out this week.

And we’ve got a DJ we’re happy with, who will make our reception a real dance party.

It’s not going to be a BIG party, but it’s going to be a fun one!
