Thoughts over a cup of morning java

July 23, 2011
Civilized living requires drinking morning coffee
from a bright and cheery coffee cup.
Yes, a cute little surprise after finishing the last drop.

Morning java time is thinking time.
Sometimes serious stuff and sometimes not.

So here’s what I’m thinking this morning about over my coffee:
the generosity of the people in my life, especially my exes and some of their families
in helping me reconstruct events for my memoir.

How lucky am I to have cordial relationships with all.
Seriously.

What are you thinking about today over YOUR morning coffee?

Oh, you’re wondering where I found those cups?
Anthropologie.
Cute, aren’t they?
Happy birthday to me!

Just read Forever Fifty by Judith Viorst; fantastic short book of poetry about being fifty. she has one on 60,70, and 80 too.
    You will love them.
Spent the week w my 84yr old mother in hospital room ; she has pnemonia. She is much improved and will go home; she is the worst patient ever. It was a nightmare.
