Not his best look

April 1, 2009

Riley had a rough day at day-care.

It was his third day playing with all his little hooligan friends, and he was exhausted.

My boy shows leadership talent. Apparently, he is the leader of the small-dog pack at day care, and when the kennel staff herds the little ones outside for their yard play, Riley assists in herding.

It’s exhausting work.

So when he got home tonight, he chose to crawl into his carrier and take a nap, rather than watch Dr. Phil.

And who could blame him.

I, also, fell sound asleep. Until the phone rang.

He looks adorable anyway. It’s hard being the leader of the pack. Such responsibility. He deserves a good nap and doggie treat.
