Looking at this video of my favorite MJ song, Billie Jean, from years ago, I’m reminded of his huge talent.

And also how the celebrity that comes with that kind of talent (and a dysfunctional family) can contribute to making someone totally crazy.

Or bring out the dysfunctions that lurk deep within. Thinking of Elvis.

Rest in peace, Michael, up in rock ‘n roll heaven.

I can only hope you didn’t do too much damage during your time on earth.

I’m not sure what happened to you. Or that we’ll ever really know.

But we’ll add you to the list of those huge, dysfunctional talents who went hard, early and left collateral damage in their wake.
