Snuggling in a dog snugly

March 15, 2012

Riley outgrew his puppy snugly a very long time ago, but nothing makes him more excited than when I take it out of the closet. I don’t do it too often, but when I do, he simply has to jump in, and then, blessedly, he’s soothed and calm as he’s carried around the house like the pasha he is.

He got some of that mama-love today as a special treat.

Of course, he weighs 11 lbs now and not the 3 lbs he was when I first carried him that way. So after a few minutes, I’m done.

Still, there’s nothing sweeter than remembering back when he was a tiny puppy, cute as can be.

He’s still cute as can be, no?

Riley is a maltipoo: half maltese and half toy poodle. Smart, smart, smart!
