Spring cleaning for the psyche

April 16, 2013
Pops of color against white remind us that spring is here.

I don’t know about you, but this winter had way too much dark and drear. People in my sphere brought with them awful, almost black energy, blotting out some of the sunshine and joy that I prefer to have around me.

Time to whisk that out the door.

I’m ready to open all the doors and windows and air out my psyche–and my house–making way for something new. It’s time for rebirth, to choose some new things in my life.

Aren’t you?

Are there things you’re doing that are now just life clutter, joyless (or stressful) and not very positive?
Is it time to let go of them?

Are there people in your life who are just not additive?

Is it time to let them go?

Out with the old, in with the new.

Spring cleaning for the psyche–I think we should make it a trend. Who’s with me on this?

  2. Good point Carol and even though it is Autumn in Brisbane it really is quite similar weather to Springtime. Have been going through some personal issues lately and need to do some spring cleaning in my life. Thanks for the motivation and inspiration. xx

  3. Yes! Not always easy to make changes but working toward it.

Both my psyche and house could use some spring cleaning.

Beautiful and inspiring, Carol. Sometimes we have to do a bit of spring cleaning in our lives. I’ve done that over the past year and found that the “trash” I’ve taken out has left me feeling happier with myself and my life.

Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!
